Multi-Line Decorative Stitch Foot

Pam, our Certified Sewing and Serger Instructor, has some tips regarding how to be successful with Omnimotion stitches. She uses the Multi-line Decorative Foot. The pictures illustrate how this clear foot makes it easier to line up the stitches. A line is drawn down the center of the fabric and 1/2″ on either side of the center line. The lines act as guides and the Multi-line Decorative Foot is aligned with these lines. Do a practice first so you can see where the lines should fall in the design. Note in the first picture the alignment is slightly off and in the second picture after adjusting the alignment, the center of the stitch is falling exactly on the center line. Pam also sets her machine to do a pattern stop stitching one pattern at a time for more control.
